NEXUS Card Replacement

This page is for Trusted Traveler members, who would like to replace their damaged, lost or stolen NEXUS cards with our help. Please note that this process is not a renewal of your Trusted Traveler program, but only and exclusively for replacement of your old NEXUS card with a new one. Your new card will be issued with the same expiration date of your previous damaged, lost or stolen card.

How Do I Replace my NEXUS Card?

There are just 4-steps you need to take in order to replace NEXUS card with us:

  • Step 1: Click on the “NEXUS Card Replacement Application” button in order to download NEXUS card replacement application form. Fill in the NEXUS pass replacement application form and save it on your device.
  • Step 2: Send the NEXUS card replacement application form via e-mail to: or to our fax: 1-313-731-1580
  • Step 3: Click on the “Payment for NEXUS card replacement” button to pay the service fee of 50 USD through CCBill.
  • Step 4: Once we receive your replacement application form and payment, we will assign your file to one of our agents and they will process it within 24 hours.

NEXUS Card Replacement Costs

NEXUS pass replacement will cost you $50(USD) service fee plus $25 government fee for background and security checks. You need to pay the first fee through our payment processor to start this process. The $25 government fee for background and security checks will be paid using the credit card included on your NEXUS replacement application form.

NEXUS Card Replacement Final Steps

Once we complete the review of your replacement application we will replace your NEXUS card in the TTP/CBP system. You can expect to receive a confirmation from us within 24 hours.

NOTE: The NEXUS card replacement may require an interview appointment at a NEXUS enrollment center in case if you have made changes in your TTP account before requesting the NEXUS card replacement.

If your NEXUS card replacement application is approved, the interview appointment is not required. You may use the NEXUS program as soon as you receive and activate your new NEXUS card.
