NEXUS Card Replacement

This page is targeted at Trusted Traveler members, who wish to replace their damaged, lost or stolen NEXUS cards with our support. We must mention that this procedure is not the same as renewing your Trusted Traveler program, but solely and exclusively for the replacement of your existing NEXUS card with a new one. Your new membership card will be issued with an identical expiration date as the one from your previous lost, stolen or damaged NEXUS card which will not yet expire for the next six months.

How Do I Replace my lost, damaged or stolen NEXUS Card?

You can order to replace your NEXUS card with four simple steps:

  • Step 1: Click on the “Pay Now” button and select a payment option to pay the service fee ($50.00USD per person) according to number of applicants.
  • Step 2: Click on the “Print Application” button to download the NEXUS card replacement application form. Provide all the necessary details in the NEXUS pass replacement application form and save it on your device.
  • Step 3: Submit the NEXUS card replacement application form via e-mail to: info@nexus-card.com or to our fax: 1-313-731-1580
  • Step 4: After we’ve received your replacement application form and payment, we will assign one of our agents to process your file within the next 24 hours.

NEXUS pass replacement will cost you $50USD (per person) service fee together with an additional $25USD (per person) government fee collected for background and security reviews and inspections. It is necessary to make the payment for the first fee through our payment processor to start this process. The $25USD government fee for background and security checks will be paid using the credit card included on your NEXUS replacement application form.

NEXUS Pass Replacement Final Steps

After the review phase of your replacement application has been completed, we will create a substitute for your NEXUS card in the TTP/CBP system. You can expect to receive a notification from us within the next 24 hours confirming your status.

NOTE: The NEXUS card replacement may demand an interview appointment at a NEXUS enrollment center in case you have made changes in your TTP account prior to requesting the NEXUS pass replacement.

If your NEXUS card replacement application is approved, the interview appointment is not mandatory. You can use the NEXUS program instantly after you receive and activate your new NEXUS card.

Once your NEXUS card replacement application is completed at the TTP system, you will be required to pay the $25USD (per person) CBP fee for conducting background and security checks as well. The $25USD CBP fee for background and security checks will be taken directly from the credit card you provided on your application form.

Before finalizing your payment for the service fee, please make sure that you are aware that Trusted Traveler Ltd and its website NEXUS-Card.com are separate from any government agencies and are a private company.
