NEXUS Eye Scan

NEXUS iris scan security

NEXUS eye scan is for travelers from Canada who intend to use their NEXUS cards for air travel. During the interview, the applicants stand in front of a special camera that uses both visible and near-infrared light to take a clear, high-contrast picture of their iris. There is no pain or harm to the eye in taking an eye scan, however, children are not required to have it. Please note that eye scan is not available in the United States.
